The PACE Energy and Environmental Services Department provides community outreach, energy and environmental conservation education, weatherization services, and utility bill assistance to eligible low-income individuals and families throughout the greater Los Angeles area. II. JOB SUMMARY:
PACE Energy Department is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented RESIDENTIAL HOME ENERGY INPSECTOR to join the team! This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to start or advance their career in a well established organization while making an positive impact in the community. In this role, the Residential Energy Inspector will be primarily responsible for conducting quality assurance inspections of program measures installed under the State Energy Savings Assistance (ESA) program in customer’s homes. The Inspector will follow inspection policies to inspect, evaluate and report if program measures have been installed in accordance with the ESA program policies and California Installation standards to ensure safety and quality control. The position may also be required to cross train to perform other duties such as customer outreach and to conduct energy assessments under various energy efficiency programs. This position is full-time and non-exempt. Traveling throughout Southern California will be required.
