Nesco Resource is offering an opportunity for a Reach Truck Operator to join a reputable unionized logistics company in Detroit, MI. If you have experience with reach and standup forklifts and are looking for a role in a fast-paced environment, this position is for you.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks and standup forklifts to move, store, and retrieve products within the warehouse.
• Pick, stage, and prepare products for shipment using RF scanners.
• Support accurate inventory levels by recording product movements and assisting with cycle counts.
• Handle the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring products are secure and organized for transport.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace through housekeeping and waste disposal tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating both reach and standup forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting is required.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail for accurate picking, packing, and inventory control.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
