Kingdom One is looking for the next awesome Payroll Specialist to join our team. Kingdom One is a rapidly growing non-profit organization. This work will be like nothing you’ve ever done before!

We’re looking for someone who will:

• Demonstrate customer service acumen with a genuine desire to proactively and consistently deliver value to our internal teams.
• Run timely on and off-cycle payroll internally.
• Resource and train talent groups in payroll features, systems, and processes that are relevant.
• Lead and support the implementation and/or transition of multiple payroll/HRIS systems.
• Perform assigned work for our customer ministries (e.g. reports, payroll processing, payroll audit, completing specific project work, etc.).
• Contributing to special projects as assigned.

Our ideal candidate:

• Is an experienced payroll specialist or manager for a minimum of 5 years, High School diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Has experience with various HRIS & Payroll systems (e.g. Paylocity, ADP, Paychex, Paycom)
• Has a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
• Experience working in a variety of industries from church, non-profit, and marketplace.
• Knowledgeable legislation and regulations of the payroll field.
• Prioritizes communication and loves working on a team.
• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing environment.
• Is technology savvy and comfortable with using a variety of accounting systems, including MS Office or G-Suite.
• Loves to work with people and sit as an advisor as well as executor to multiple organizations.
• Would love to create content to help educate and resource ministries.
• Is a strong project manager who loves to serve people, is collaborative, and is organized.
• Has a heart for serving the church, loves Jesus, and is excited to grow the capital “C” church.
