Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for records management and a knack for delivering innovative IT solutions? We're seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead projects and improve operational efficiency in federal healthcare IT environments.
In this role, you will bring your expertise in OpenText Content Server, OpenText Records Management, and records management best practices to provide leadership and drive results. This position is remote, but occasional travel to our office in Fairfax, VA, may be required.
What You'll Do
Lead with impact: Manage projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met, while fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
Share your expertise: Provide subject matter guidance on records management practices, standards, and technologies.
Enhance operations: Plan and execute implementations or upgrades to optimize records management systems.
Communicate effectively: Break down technical concepts for diverse audiences, including IT teams, management, and federal personnel.
Solve complex problems: Identify needs, resolve technical challenges, and develop automation and process management solutions.
Document and train: Create technical documentation, provide resource estimates, and deliver training to ensure successful project outcomes.
Your Background
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience:
10+ years in IT, with 7+ years focused on OpenText Content Server or OpenText Records Management (formerly Livelink ECM).
2+ years in records management business processes.
Proven experience delivering enterprise records management solutions for federal clients.
Experience working in DoD environments (preferred).
Skills & Certifications:
OpenText certifications (e.g., ECM Consultant, Content Server Developer) are highly desired.
PMP certification is a strong plus.
Proficiency in Cloud Hosting and OpenText Process Suite software is a bonus.
Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
