Job Title: Software QA Tester

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Experience in testing complex web applications
• Experience in testing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proficient in database/SQL language for performing data analysis and manipulation
• Experience with XML, JSON, and API testing
• Experience with automation testing
• Strong ability to create and execute detailed functional and regression test cases
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for data validation and manipulation
• Experience in performance and accessibility testing
• Ability to work closely with development teams to define test case automation
• Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST)
• Experience with test automation using open source technologies and/or in-house frameworks
• Familiarity with test frameworks like Junit, TestNG
• Experience using WAPT Pro, JMeter, or other performance testing tools
• Previous experience with Zypher Scale
• Familiarity with Jira issue tracking software

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze user requirements, design documents, and other documentation to develop detailed test cases.
• Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, and report all issues, test case runs, test results, and summaries.
• Perform manual testing and data validation to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Utilize advanced SQL queries for data analysis and manipulation.
• Collaborate with development teams and customers to understand functionality and define automation test cases.
• Execute performance and accessibility testing to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Review user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate applications or improve existing systems.
• Work with the project team during sprint/release work, including providing testing effort estimates, resolving defects, and providing status updates on work assignments or issues.
