Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at our corporate headquarters. This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities and offers a dynamic work environment focused on continuous learning and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state income tax returns, along with quarterly tax estimates.
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities, including the IRS and state agencies.
- Conduct research on complex tax issues.
- Assist with the development and mentorship of junior staff members.
About You
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (such as CCH Axcess Tax) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and willingness to stay informed of regulatory changes.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
