Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and not-for-profit entities.
  • Conduct tax research and provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
  • Analyze financial statements and collaborate with audit teams for integrated tax planning and compliance.
  • Stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in managing client relationships by providing proactive and value-added tax strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior accountants within the team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with experience in multiple industries such as not-for-profit, real estate, and local government.
  • Proficiency with accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, UltraTax, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex tax matters.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering superior client service.
