**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Residential Home Inspector to join our team in the Greater Seattle Area. In this full-time, remote position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and quality of residential properties by conducting thorough inspections in line with state regulations and company standards. With a competitive compensation package ranging from $35,000 to $60,000 per year, or commission-based earnings, this role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about customer service and eager to learn. No prior home inspection experience is required!
Your typical day will involve traveling to various residential properties, collaborating with real estate agents, and engaging with home buyers and sellers. You will conduct detailed inspections, discuss your findings with clients, and provide them with a comprehensive written report.

**Responsibilities:**
- Perform thorough and accurate inspections of residential properties, evaluating the condition of structures, systems, and components.
- Communicate effectively with clients, guiding them through the inspection process and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports that include written descriptions and photographs, ensuring timely delivery.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, handling any issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Adhere to all state regulations and company guidelines, maintaining high standards of accuracy and ethics throughout the inspection process.
- Collaborate with team members and management to enhance processes and improve service delivery.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a licensed home inspector or have the ability to obtain a license within a specified timeframe.
- Familiarity with residential home construction and systems is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential issues.
- Proficient in using technology, including tablets, cameras, and inspection software.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (a company vehicle will be provided after the probationary period).
- Ability to pass a background check.
