Job Title: Project Manager
Location: White Plains, NY (Candidates are REQUIRED to be local to the Tri-State area)
Business Unit: Information Technology
Duration: 12-Month Contract

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee diverse technology projects from initiation to closure. This role requires a results-driven professional with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, while adeptly managing stakeholder expectations and fostering a collaborative team environment. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of projects, including initiation, planning, implementation, and closure, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans detailing scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor and execute project activities, maintaining adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks while resolving issues to maintain project momentum.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and providing constructive feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing transparent updates and managing expectations.
  • Align project objectives with organizational goals, ensuring seamless integration and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Allocate and optimize resources to achieve efficient project delivery.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  • Conduct project reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure alignment with project specifications and negotiate contracts as needed.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile) and tools.
  • Thorough understanding of project phases and techniques, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
  • Expertise in customer satisfaction management, vendor/consultant management, risk management, and financial management (budgeting, forecasting, and reporting).
  • Ability to manage change effectively, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to ensure open communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in handling complex communication for internal and external audiences.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and other lifecycle methodologies for deploying infrastructure, networking, and non-software projects.


Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is highly desired.
  • Certifications in industry standards (e.g., ITIL) are preferred.
