Classification: Contract
Contract Length: 12 months

The MEDITECH Expanse SUR Consultant Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical personnel, IT staff, and project management, to achieve effective system deployment and optimization. This will be a remote role with up to 50 % travel.

• Plan, design, implement, maintain, and provide ongoing optimization and support for MEDITECH EMR software and other MEDITECH clinical applications.
• Perform workflow assessments, capture business needs, and analyze internal systems to determine functional requirements for optimal utilization of MEDITECH applications.
• Possess clinical and application knowledge and experience.
• Execute builds, upgrades, and system enhancements as needed.
• Support applications throughout all phases of implementation.
• Deliver post-implementation training, support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Work within cross-functional team and with end-users to achieve application integration to meet clinical needs.
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working with MEDITECH Magic, C/S 6. x Clinical applications or Expanse.
• Experience with business process analysis and design, including identification and implementation of best practices, when applicable and practical within the project time lines
• Surgical background, PACU, Same day surgery experience and medical billing preferred
• Knowledge of SMART would be an additional asset
• Must have attention to detail and work well with a remote team
• Willingness to learn new tasks
