Job Overview
Family Eye Care is a leading optometry practice dedicated to providing high-quality eye care and exceptional service to our patients. We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist who shares our commitment to excellent patient care and will be an integral part of our team.

Work Schedule

• Part-Time Position
• 25-30 hours per week
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Interaction : Greet patients as they arrive, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
• Appointment Scheduling : Answer phones, schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments; assist patients with inquiries regarding services.
• Check-In/Check-Out : Check patients in for appointments, verify insurance information, and ensure all necessary forms are completed.
• Patient Records Management : Maintain and update patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Communication : Relay messages between patients and clinical staff, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
• Administrative Support : Perform general administrative tasks including filing, faxing, organizing patient files, and maintaining office supplies.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• Previous experience in a front desk, customer service, or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment (phones, computers, fax machines, etc.).
• Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with practice management software or Electronic Health Records (EHR) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong focus on patient care and confidentiality.
