Job Description

• Answering phones and forwarding calls to the appropriate party, or taking down messages for forwarding later
• Check voicemails and return calls
• Collecting patient information
• Collect patient copay, co-insurance, and any balances
• Ensuring that each patient has the proper documentation
• Handling correspondence
• Schedule and reschedule appointments
• Check Eligibility
• Assist the back front receptionist
• Greet patients
• Check patients in and out
• Send triage messages

Requirements

• Experience in a medical office setting PREFERRED, not required.

• Ability to work effectively with all levels of our care team and other colleagues.
• A positive attitude.
• Remain in compliance with HIPAA.
• Remain in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Proficient in typing.
• Meticulous and organized.
• Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding administrative skills.
