Position Overview: Gregor Industries, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Facilities Project Manager (FPM) to join our team in the Huntington, NY area. The Facilities Project Manager will manage the planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects focused on facility upgrades, renovations, and improvements. The FPM will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of facilities-related construction projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving strategies. Provide regular financial performance updates and forecasts.
  • Set project timelines, establish milestones, and track progress to ensure timely project completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and changes to scope or schedule.
  • Supervise contractors and subcontractors, ensuring they follow project timelines, budgets, and safety regulations.
  • Identify potential risks to the project and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve issues promptly to avoid delays or budget overruns.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and uphold quality standards.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation, including contracts, plans, permits, schedules, change orders, and correspondence.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure the project meets the required specifications. Address any deficiencies with contractors and vendors.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing excellent customer service throughout the project.

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, particularly related to facility upgrades, renovations, or improvements.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets, timelines, and teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and develop solutions.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Licenses/Certifications Required:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • SST 62 Certification
Pay Range: USD $66,560.00 - USD $123,988.00 /Yr.
