Premier employer in the east TN region has immediate opening for an EHS Manager at their large manufacturing operation. The plant has a strong Safety record and wants to ensure this continues. Need to hire a strong leader who will ensure proper use of PPE on the production floor, and who will also communicate to plant leadership the importance of Safety initiatives.
On the Environmental side, the EHS Manager will ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations such as Air Permitting, storm drainage, and other EPA reporting.
The EHS Manager will develop Safety Programs, conduct safety audits, and review potential hazards on new processes.
Qualified candidates will have BS degree along with at least 5 years experience in EHS roles in manufacturing. Prior Supervisor / Manager experience is a plus.
