Are you passionate about wine, e-commerce, and digital marketing? A boutique wine shop in Lower Manhattan is looking for an E-Commerce & Digital Content Manager to help bring the curated boutique wine shop experience online. This is an exciting new role that blends website management, social media content creation, and customer engagement, allowing us to expand our digital presence while making wine and spirits more accessible—whether for a wine novice or a seasoned connoisseur.

Key Responsibilities
-Website & E-Commerce Management
-Oversee the day-to-day operation of the website, ensuring seamless functionality and a user-friendly shopping experience.
-Update the site regularly with new products, including high-quality images, engaging descriptions, pricing, and relevant media.
-Monitor real-time shopping activity, engaging with customers who have active carts to encourage sales completion.
-Work with the sales team to identify website visitors who could become repeat customers and develop outreach strategies.
-Utilize SEO best practices to improve online discoverability and drive organic traffic.

Content Creation & Social Media Marketing
-Collect and format video content from the sales team for use on the website and across social media platforms.
-Assist in creating engaging, educational, and promotional content to increase customer engagement and boost sales.
-Work with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) to grow our online presence and attract new customers.
-Analyze engagement metrics to determine which content strategies drive the best results.

In-Store Assistance (As Needed)
-Support the in-store team during peak hours by assisting customers, answering questions, and facilitating sales.
-Maintain a strong knowledge of our product selection to help bridge the online and in-store experience.

Qualifications
Required:
-Minimum 2 years of experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or online retail.
-Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Squarespace, WooCommerce, or similar).
-Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital tools to optimize website performance.
-Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) and content strategy.
-Basic video editing and social media content creation skills.
-A basic understanding of wine and spirits with a willingness to learn and expand industry knowledge.

Preferred (but not required):
-Wine certifications through organizations like WSET or the Court of Master Sommeliers or similar.
-Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or the wine & spirits industry.
