Job Description

Dispensing Optician Evaluate prescriptions in conjunction with patients vocational and avocational visual requirements. Recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit patient needs. Verify that finished lenses are ground to specifications. Measure patients bridge, temple length, vertex distance, pupillary distance, and optical centers of eyes. Able to use opticalmeasuring devices, and order inventory. Must be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and provide excellent customer service. Must have good communication skills, both verbal/written, and be computer literate. Minimum oftwo years of experience preferred but will train the right candidate. HS Diploma or GED required.
