What Will You Do?
As a Database/Web Engineer, you will:
Design and implement data systems that include both web and database components.
Analyze, maintain, and enhance existing databases and web interfaces.
Add new features to operational systems, applying signal processing and other algorithms.
Test solutions with real-world data, ensuring functionality and performance.
Develop user interfaces and data visualization tools for front-line customer facilities.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies to continuously improve solutions.
Collaborate with teams across systems engineering, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
Work independently, take initiative, and propose improvements for the systems and frameworks you work on.
In this role, you will have direct feedback from customers and the satisfaction of knowing that your contributions make a real-world difference. Your ability to work with minimal direction and take ownership of projects is essential.
What Qualifications Will Make You Successful?
A degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in modern software engineering practices, ensuring testability and readability.
Experience with C++ and Python in Linux environments.
Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Strong experience designing software systems that meet functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in a software engineering role.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
Experience with DevOps and cloud computing (e.g., Gitlab, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Agile development processes.
Current TS/SCI security clearance.
Location:
This position is based in Tucson, AZ, and is not available for remote work or telecommuting.

Compensation:
Starting at $92,000, plus benefits. Total compensation is based on qualifications and experience. Please note that salary ranges may vary depending on the location of the applicant, with regional adjustments for candidates outside of Colorado.
