We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to take on the role of Director of HR, Facilities & Internal Communications for Ukraine. Your mission is to lead, innovate, and drive all aspects of Human Resources to align with our company's goals and values. You will be a key partner to business leaders, providing strategic insights and operational excellence to foster a thriving and inclusive work environment.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Strategic HR Leadership : Align HR strategy with organizational goals; partner with leadership on workforce challenges, change management, and growth; provide data-driven insights on workforce planning, engagement, and talent development.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management : Attract, hire, and retain top talent; oversee succession planning and DEI-focused hiring; drive career development initiatives.
  • Performance and Development : Support performance management and a high-performance culture; implement learning programs; promote feedback and individual growth.
  • Compensation and Benefits : Conduct annual compensation reviews; provide market analytics; ensure competitive rewards aligned with trends.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement : Advise on employee relations; enhance satisfaction and retention; support an inclusive, ethical workplace.
  • Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure legal and policy compliance; lead workplace safety and ethics initiatives.
  • HR Operations : Streamline HR processes and analytics; oversee headcount reporting, reviews, and team development.
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing : Support relocation, retreats, EAPs, and burnout prevention programs.
  • Team Development : Lead with empathy; provide feedback, goal-setting, and wellbeing activities; foster a strong, supportive team culture.
  • Communications & Facilities Support : Align team priorities with business needs and provide strategic guidance.

Your experience and qualifications

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) are a plus.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of progressive HRD leadership experience in international companies or complex environments;
  • Deep understanding of pharma industry, understanding the market trends and challenges;
  • Proven managerial experience of diverse teams;
  • Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies aligned with business objectives ;
  • Proven experience in managing organization changes;

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Ukrainian labor legislation.
  • Excellent strategic thinking.
  • Great communication, public speaking, and presentation skills paired with the ability to effectively build lasting relationships; demonstrate strong interpersonal and influencing (leadership) skills throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Results oriented, highly motivated self-starter with a hands-on approach and a strong “can-do” attitude, highest standards of personal ethics and integrity.
  • Strong personality, self-confident and bold in expressing your opinion in a tactful manner.
  • Strong project management, risk assessment and change management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize dynamic workload.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent English and Ukrainian .

Work Environment:

This role is based in Kyiv (Ukraine) and may require occasional travel to different regions or headquarters. The Country HRD is expected to demonstrate a high level of adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
