Position: Civil Engineer/Project Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Experience Required:
* 5+ years in civil engineering, with a focus on roads and bridges.
* Demonstrated experience managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the planning, design, and construction of civil engineering projects, including roads and bridges.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
* Collaborate with contractors, city officials, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
* Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates to stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
* Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing civil engineering projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and schmooze effectively with contractors and city officials.
* Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
