We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team in Addison, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the financial operations of the company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in AP, looking to grow within a collaborative and dynamic finance department.

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices and statements for accuracy, proper approval, and appropriate coding
• Process invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and payment terms
• Prepare and process payments to vendors through various payment methods (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to payments, invoices, and account statements
• Ensure that vendor records are accurate and up-to-date

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar finance-related position
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.)
